This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Siyabonga Mbambo, through AmakenganeHoldings ("I", "we", "this site") collects when you use this website, how it is used, and the choices you have.

What I collect

• Email address. If you join the newsletter, I collect the email address you enter, plus the page you signed up from and the date and time.
• Basic technical data. Like most websites, the hosting server may log your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, for security and reliability.

I do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and I do not sell your personal information.

How I use it

• To send you book launches, new writing, blog posts and updates, which is the reason you subscribed.
• To keep the site secure and working.

Who I share it with

Newsletter emails are stored and sent with a third-party email service provider that acts on my behalf. Your data is shared only with that provider and with hosting providers needed to run this site, or where the law requires it.

This site links to Amazon to buy my books. Amazon has its own privacy policy, and I am not responsible for how it handles your data.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If analytics are added in future, this policy will be updated.

How long I keep your data

I keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete it.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information I hold about you, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. Depending on where you live, laws such as South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) give you these rights.
